Antiques
The old 2 story grainery that once
was used to hold oats, is now home
to the antique store. This building
has been restored using the same
method and materials that were
used when it was originally built
120 years ago. The pine boards
were milled on a band saw by a
local Amish family, and the original
posts and beams that were hand
hewn and pegged together still
support the building today.
Prior to opening the store here
on the farm, we owned and operated
Memory Maker Antiques in Red Wing,
Minnesota. Antiques
have been a passion for over 30
years and their restoration and
preservation will always remain
a labor of love.
We would like to extend special thanks to Pichler Construction for their masterful craftsmanship, which can be seen in every detail. And to Nick Scott of Oven Crafters who has displayed his rare talent in the ancient art of masonry and oven building. Thanks also to Bauer Plumbing, Auth Electric and Komro Sales for all their help.
